I head down to the bow river Alberta after rainbow trout. Heavy rains for several days prior clouds up the water making it a bit more difficult for the trout to see. I walk several miles up and downstream and manage to land a couple nice trout with a few missed fish despite the river quality. @@Lethbridgefishing the oldman river is a great place depending on what your going after. Lots of trout in the upper oldman and the lower old man in the Lethbridge area has some great places for walleye and even sturgeon.

Productive day on the lake! Didn't know Rock Lake location...looked it up it's in PP1 zone twp 20 range 15 W4M about 25 km NW of Brooks AB.
Yes about ten minute or so drive from brooks
Seems like a locked in method to catch walleye. I'd tou can find a good ledge, Jigging is good, if not, you can't beat trolling the minnow tipped bottom bouncers. Great fishing as always.

Loved this, James. Man, I need to find a trout spot and change things up. Never had much luck with them.
@@DCOutdoors they are super visual predators so it’s hard to get them to hit your lure before they notice something isn’t right. I use light line 6lb test mono and super small snap swivels or no snap swivel. Then you can do little tricks like reel in a bit faster so they hit your lure before they get a good look at it lol I get skunked often or hook a few and watch them all jump out and shake the lure.
Some nice walters. Haven't been to Keho as it is a bit big for a kayak. Need to catch up on some of your other vids

It’s by carseland, upstream of Johnson island and the wier. I walk about 3 km up from the weir.
